Design is a dangerous business. Freelance contracts, arguments over intellectual property rights and the flickle nature of trends do not make for a stable working environment. But perhaps even more worrying is the large number of prominent industry figures -many of whom operated at the fashion end of the design spectrum- wose lives have been cut short in sometimes mysterious, and oftentimes macabre, ways.
